At Olympic Web Design, Inc. we host our customer accounts on Intel Pentium 4 servers. These servers are purpose built for web hosting and feature 100mbps transfer rate and sit behind dedicated firewalls. We offer both Windows and Unix hosting plans. We perform daily incremental tape backups and weekly full backups.
Our servers are located in world-class facilities that feature raised floors, a temperature & humidity controlled environment with HVAC temperature control systems, with separate cooling zones & seismically braced racks. The facilities offer a wide range of physical security features, including state-of-the-art smoke detection and fire suppression systems, motion sensors, & 24x7 secured access, as well as video camera surveillance & security breach alarms. Within these facilities, the data center delivers high levels of reliability through a number of redundant subsystems, such as multiple fiber trunks from multiple sources, fully redundant power on the premises, and multiple backup generators.
